The Steward's House

It has been a while since I was able to stay at Het Rentmeestershuis . But what is in the barrel... When I stopped my flying career at KLM in the fall of 2021, I had a really hard time with it. And because a friend was recovering from a serious illness, my friends and I decided to organize a luxurious 'me time' weekend. Two girls took the lead and surprised us with a super cool stay at Het Rentmeestershuis . With a route description, the rest of the group of girls was sent on their way to end up in the beautiful landscape of the Betuwe.

The owners

After a long search, Els and Ludovic found their beautiful farm to realize their dream.
Creating a unique Boutique B&B where hospitality, comfort, luxury and security are central.

The environment

The Rentmeestershuis in Eck en Wiel gleams on the banks of the Neder-Rijn, hidden in the Betuwe landscape. By ferry you can reach Utrecht, Arnhem, or Den Bosch within half an hour by car for a pleasant lunch outing, or to go shopping for home furnishings and then return to the beautiful and relaxed surroundings.

This historic 18th century building has been transformed into a comfortable and stylish holiday home, with original features such as wooden beams and a chic fireplace. These authentic features give the house a unique atmosphere and appearance.

It is a beautiful place to stay and it also has a beautiful interior that is a feast for the eyes. The living room has a large sofa and comfortable armchairs. The dining room has a large dining table with lovely chairs where you can have a nice meal with friends.

The beating heart of

The Steward's House.

The large part of the national monument farm is where everything comes together. Upon entering you are overwhelmed by the height and the gigantic space. This part is used for breakfast, dinner or just to do nothing at all.

What you want is possible and what is possible may be what you want.”

The Rentmeestershuis is there to give you an unforgettable stay. With personal attention and care.

The suites exclusively

You can book Het rentmeestershuis completely for yourself. Just like we did with a group of girlfriends. But this is also an excellent location for a family weekend or brainstorming sessions. With six of us, we were allowed to choose from the three beautiful stylish bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and unique style. The rooms are furnished with comfortable beds and bedding. There are also enough cupboards and drawers to store your belongings. The furniture fits perfectly with the atmosphere of the building. This allows you to relax and enjoy a good night's sleep.
